SD40 versus SD40-2 – image 1

I'm trying to catch my SD40 fleet up to snuff in terms of sound, and I'm figuring that I can more or less put the default SD40-2 sound suite to various SD40s, and not be too far off base. Can I do that, or is it going to be akin to hearing jet engines from an L-1049G?

Thanks much! I've only got like 310 diesels to examine and catch up in terms of nomenclature, cabview, sound, and physics. This makes it much easier.
