This is kind of an old Question but,Okay I have GEMegaPack on my computer all sounds work Good But I go to alias the GE Uboatsounds to a locomotive in Conbuilder,I get The GEUboatCab.sms,GEUboatEng.sms Aliased to the Engine.Then I fire up MSTS Get that Engine All I can Hear is the horn with Sound sliders to the Max I Had these working then I Installed the new Dash9 sounds by ken Swenson,And lost all sounds once again besides the Anybody know what to do or have this problem before?Thanks Jeremy Smith West Plains,MO BNSF Engineer (In Training)
Ken S. Did you change anything that would cause this???? I haven't looked in a while but I thought primarily all you added was a turbo whine sound and a traction motor whine sound to the default dash 9 and did all your magic with the SMS files..... Off the top of my head I can't think of anything that would be fatal... Jeremy have you tried installing the MegaPak to a dummy location and copying the sound folders back into trainsim and that should restore you to a basic NALW FDL sound pack??????Chuck Schneider (Virtual) CEO North American (Virtual) Locomotive Works
No those are just some extra SMS file I built for reskinners who did not want to use the FDL sounds and were willing to use the default dash 9 cab also....
