I want to make some changes, but am having problems. I want to change the music from the A Train to some other stuff I've got. I converted it from MP3 to Wave format, and edited the new path into the SMS file "TA_obser_pass". When I opened the program, the coach was silent. I fooled around with it a little more, and then it gave me an error message as soon as I started the train... So, it was back to the A Train. Can anyone give me user friendly instructions on how to do this? Any good utilities I can download? Any help is appreciated.Keep Rockin' Those Rails

I also had the same problem Toby. I converted two MP3s into WAV Files using Musicmatch Jukebox, then attempted the same thing. Did you get the error message that says Microsoft Train Simulator has encountered a problem and needs to close?" I am suspecting that it may be something to do with the strands of data in our WAV files, but I am not quite entirely sure...

You will need to make sure you converted to a .wav format that is recognized by the MSTS sound engine.MSTS wants a 352kbps, 16 bit, stereo .wav file with a sampling rate of 11kHz.-Jeff
