I have an engine that has a very soft bell sound, whereas on another engine the bell is loud enough. I am wondering if there is a way to increase the volume on the bell (or horn and/or engine) and if so what parameters are they?

RE: Changing Sound levels

Hi,Look in the .sms files. Note they are Unicode like all files from MSTS.
Search for bell and you will find an entry for the bell. It is very well possible that there is a Volume(nn) entry just above it.
Just play around with the volume settings.Dick van den HovenChanging Sound levels – image 1
