Okay, I've got Goldwave and have a fantastic horn sound to edit. I want to make the sound longer so I edit the cue points to create some space betwwen them (Only two, start and finish) only the horn is still not a long enough blast. What should I do, edit the wav to make it longer or resample the original wav ?I have tried to edit the wave by cutting and pasting selections, but all i seem to get is a sound that is uneven and not crisp and clear.Any Help appreciated from you sound demons !

RE: Editing .wavs to make them longer

Theres a part where it says 'Decrease Speed by 25%' in Windows sound recorder. Maybe you can do that and then make the sound longer.

This is Notting Hill Gate......Change for Circle...and District lines...............This train terminates at Hainault...via Newbury Park......(Don't you just love the SONIA? If you haven't heard it, play BVE Central line to hear it!)

RE: Editing .wavs to make them longer

Sorry, but decreasing the speed distorts the sound too much, I am looking for a way to keep the wavelength the same.
