I can only encourage every montain line fan to download Albula2, along with the typical RhBpack rolling stock package. Albula is a MUST. THANKS again to Michael Vone & all contributors ! Now, most locos are aliased to whatever. Cabviews is no major problem, many are available, and recommendations come along with the Albula/RhB documents. But who would be able to help with more prototypical Sound, especially Swiss/RhB HORNS ? . Never mind the engine sound and squeal, they are nearly the same worldwide, and a nice range is already around..But HORNS are like personal voices for locos ! and even individual engineers "play" their horns... Can't stand a Dash9 mooo in the Alps ! (nor a SNCF titatoo in Montana)WHO CAN HELP WITH HORN .WAV, freeware or records ?The intention is to publish them together with adequate .SMS packages. Thanks in advance !OK to email me at thetrain@wanadoo.frLove and Peace
While I can't help with supplying the correct horns for the Albula rolling stock -- fantastic route, I agree -- I'm another of those that swaps the horns out to be more correct for whatever prototype I am running. Horns have always been my pet peeve...have even written a couple articles on various air horns in a technical magazine about 25 years ago.
Did you received allready some feedback? otherwise I will make a posting on an Swiisrailway group at the yahoo groups seection. In what format did/do you want to receive the soundfiles?
Extremely little feedback ! Just 1-2 replies I have posted on the-train.de and miginet.ch/ts too. What I would need: -wav sounds directly usable (with x_.wav if available) -but any sound for comparison would be of help ! Love and Peace
Hallo Oldiedaddy, I am modifying the complete .sms files for the RhB Locos, and hope to publish them within some time. I have also tried to create a new version for the whistles (both short and long). If You like to get the whistles for the moment, pls. write an e-mail to me directly.CheersCarlo Santucci
