I've seen where everyone talks about decreased sounds outside the loco cab but I have the reverse, very low sound down to almost none inside the cab, outside is great,Is there a fix for this or have I got to DELETE MSTS & reload or have I downloaded a Loco or Wagon with a sound bug.

RE: Cab Sounds

I have this problem on an ATSF GP60 I downloaded. I've tried increasing the volume with Sound Editor in Windows 2000, but doing so had no effect. The low volume (inside or out) seems to be more of a problem on downloaded locomotives; the stock MSTS ones seem fine.MC

RE: Cab Sounds

In reply to the Question asked as to what train I was using, the sound is low on all locos, steam & diesel. But it does seem to be the general engine noise, individual items like the fire hole door opening or changing gear in a diesel can be heard.Engine under load on Marias Pass almost doesn't exit but if I put my head out the window I get the full effect including the change of sound when moving from front view forward to looking back.
