I have a cab car that is used when my train backs up. Question is how do I put the Cab sounds (horn and Bell) into the cab exterior and interior.? Can I do this in a .wag file or do I have to create an .eng file?
I don't think MSTS was programmed to have two driveable locomotives, or an engine and a cab. I was trying to do the same thing you were but didn't have any luck.
I am afraid you will have to use an ENG file. Still not a problem copy an eng file from a electric power car and change the contents to suite. Change the power (in KW?) to be very low so that the cab car can not pull the train by itself. If you change it to zero, it wont't work properly. If you get into problems, I can send you a copy of the eng file I created for a cab car downloadable from this site.Andy K
