DCForum Discussion Forum - Sounddifferences in the cabsms and engsms file

Hi! I've created really cool new sounds. When I am in the cab than the sounds sound like I have recorded them really cool. When I change my point of view to the outside the msts made something with my sounds. It seems that they have a different frequency ( for example the horn is darker ). But this are the same files like in the cab. What can I do that the sounds around my engine sound nearly as I'm in the cab? What have I to change in the eng.sms file? How can I make the sounds louder?

Both files should be in 11,025 htz, 16 bit, but the cab sounds are stereo files and the outside views mono. If you switch them they will play at 2X or 1/2 speed.Steve
