LAST EDITED ON Apr-07-02 AT 02:37 AM (EST)Hi Guys, I hope someone can help me on this. I have the new CNW dash-8 horn, which is KICK A$$!!! BUT, it is a little quiet when used. Is there a way to make it louder whithout many different sound programs?? Or is ther a way period?? Any help appreciated!!Thanks!!!Kelley
I use goldwave to make my horns, and you can also increase or decrease the volume. Send it to and i can crank the volume for you if you like me too. But goldwave is a free demo program that you can use You can get it a http://www.goldwave.com.
Howdy, Thanks for the reply. I downloaded the stuff, and I am going to try it. I also downloaded the other program to make long files for our music in the obs stuff!!! Thanks again!Kelley
Hey Kelly, Try using the expander to add a little more kick. The compressors or expanders will make a soft sound louder by expanding or compressing the dynamic range. Just beware of digital clipping which will creep in as you get more aggressive. After getting the sound mashed flat use the "Maximize" feature to bring it to a fraction below 0dB. This gives you the most volume possible without distortion from the Digital to analog converters. I think in Goldwave the expander will be the trick. Just make a backup and experiment. R.
