Reading Topic #101
on the outside view "2" key there is a constant popping sound i dont know what it is but its been like that eversince i got the game about 7 months ago and its about to drive me nutty th funny thing is it doesnt do this if i go to the back of my consist .it even gets louder when i put my engine in a higher notch.it only does this on the outside veiw

Actually, what locomotive were you using? I think I know what it is. If you were using an AC traction loco like the Dash 9, SD70MAC, or any of the SD MAC's, they actually do emit a loud whooshing sound of air in small bursts. It must be something to do with the traction motors because this is only on AC motors.I know that 3DTS' SD70M loco sounds have that quite audible sound. I actually like it, first time I heard it was when I stood beside a CP AC4400 and SD90MAC for the first time. It sure was cool!Matt
