Is there a cab for a Dash-9 that has the aspect signal display, shows the current and upcoming speed limit changes, and a triple digital readout for the speedmeter? The 1st thing; "aspect signal display". I want it to show if the signal ahead of the train is clear/flashing yellow/yellow/red/ or flashing red, and maybe if it's possiable, it has how far 'till you reach the signal in miles. The 2nd thing; "the current and upcoming speed limit changes". I want it to tell me the current posted speed limit, and any possiable speed limit changes along the route. And the 3rd thing; "triple digital readout for the speedmeter" is it not only showing your going 60MPH, but 60.#MPH (for those speed limits that don't allow the speed to be over point 5.Example; Speed limit is 40MPH, your going 40MPH and it claims your overspeeding, because your ACTUALLY going 40.6MPH (your still going 40, but the sim says your point 1 MPH over the speed limit). It would be nice to have that 3rd # to see how fast your really going to keep it below point 5.

My first thought is to try the file library under "Cabs" or "Cab Views". Below I will answer what I believe to be possible and what is not.>The 1st thing; "aspect signal display". I want it to show if >the signal ahead of the train is clear/flashing >yellow/yellow/red/ or flashing red, and maybe if it's >possiable, it has how far 'till you reach the signal in >miles. Cab signals are fairly basic in nature and should be programmed to match the route they are intended to be used with. Some common rules are usually followed to a generic cab signal will work most of the time but not for every route. Cab signals cannot flash. As far as I know, there is no way to show an indication in the cab as to how far away the next signal is. >The 2nd thing; "the current and upcoming speed limit >changes". I want it to tell me the current posted speed >limit, and any possiable speed limit changes along the >route. The only speed limits that can be displayed in the cab are ones, if set, for upcoming signals. The cab display cannot show current speed; only speed set at the next signal, if defined at the next signal. >And the 3rd thing; "triple digital readout for the >speedmeter" is it not only showing your going 60MPH, but >60.#MPH (for those speed limits that don't allow the speed >to be over point 5.It is certainly possible to have a digital speedometer that shows accuracy to one or more decimal places. These readouts can be helpful in determining rates of acceleration or deceleration. To stay within 0.5 mph of a speed limit without going over is difficult. Personally I consider myself a good engineer if I can keep my speed to be constantly just under the limit by 2 or 3 mph. Hope this has been helpful.Cheers,Gary Cameron Grande Prairie "The last civilized stop before Alaska," AB Canada

Yea I ususally go over the speed limit about 10 times in a 2 hour run, but their all within 2 or 3 MPH of the speed limit.NALW's GE megapack for the cab.-Dave
