Because John Peterson makes such an outstanding C30-7 it seemed sacreligious to us to use an EMD Cab (GP38) with it....
So as Sam had nothing better to do with his life he built one of his Special Cabs just for the GE dash 7 series. We also feel it is quite usable on the Later U-Boats also...
So lets not see any more of that EMD trash installed in GE products! Eh? ------Chuck Schneider---------

And could I please request that the rest of you, I've already converted John, who make U-boats and what not please alias the Dash 9 sounds? Not the GP38 sounds...
Remember if it doesn't sound like a Norge Washer Spin Drying a pair of galoshes while dragging a mile of chain after it, while going down the trax then its not a GE product!------Chuck Schneider---------
