I am currently in the process of reworking the common EMD GP/SD cab for a set of GP20s that I have re-skinned, but I've run into a problem. The nose edges are very jagged (see pic below). What do I have to do to correct this? I am using PSP5 for my re-skinning. Thanks.Shawn
I guess you are using a passenger view screenshot as nose. Then what you need to do is set MSTS to highest resolution (for example 1600x1200), and resize the screenshot while the process. If you are drawing, also try use large resolution then resize.
I just cut a section out of a screenshot from the #1 view. I didn't do any resizing at all. I'm running MSTS at 1024x768. I'd like to be able to smooth those lines out to look more like the GP/SD Common Cabs in the file library. Thanks.Shawn
When you paste the cut out section of the screen shot onto your cab image, make sure that you have the anti-aliasing option turned on. Anti-aliasing blends the blue of the nose into the back ground color, using a lighter shade of blue. All you need to do is paste the cut out screen shot onto the cab image, but before you hit the paste command make sure that you have turned on Anti-aliasing, and it will look great! I don't know how to turn the anti-aliasing function on in that particular paint program as I have never used it.Hope this helps!! KWK100
