Hi everyone: I am having a problem with the CE. When I open a cabview I get the dreaded "Send-Don't Send". This happens with all cabviews, whether it is from an engine folder or common.cab folder. Any help of any kind in any form will be appreciated.Cyndi
This always happens to cabviews that are "aliased". If ANY of the .ace files used by the cabview are in a different folder than the .cvf file, the cabview will crash when you try to load it in CE.Jonathan Nikiforovs. Milepost 180, CP Belleville Sub.Repainter for Yonder Locomotive Works.

Thank you for the information, I'll try it on non-aliased cvf's and let you know.BTW: Meaning to tell you for awhile, I love your signature line. So true.Cyndi
>BTW: Meaning to tell you for awhile, I love your signature line. >So true.I was inspired to put that there after a string of flames during the summer (before you joined the forum) concerning how accurarate and prototypical certain models or repaints were. Most of the comments came frome people who had never built a 3D model or created a repaint. Although my hands were not completely clean of that affair (my "incident" was during the early spring of '03 when I was still a newbie), I just thought the quote seemed very appropos in light of it...Jonathan Nikiforovs. Milepost 180, CP Belleville Sub.Repainter for Yonder Locomotive Works.
