The boiler water level indicator in the steam engine cab is a vertical blue line. All else being equal it rises when you go upgrade and vice versa. Let me throw this idea out for anyone, cleverer than I, who might want to try it:Could that blue line be added to the diesel cvf file and positioned in an inconspicuous space (e.g., along the left or right edge) to provide meaningful info to the engineer, even if it just indicates ascending or descending? The real engineer doesn't have it of course, but he knows where the grades are. This would be particularly helpful on routes such as NEC4, Marias3 and fantasy routes where the grades are not all that obvious or even accurate for the real railroad.fwbryan

RE: Grade Indicator

The diesel would need a boiler for this to work. Not to mention a sort of quasi steam/diesel .eng file.I just don't think it would work. Not a bad idea though.-Jeff
