Hi All:
With great fear and trepidation I have made my first foray into the Cab Editor. What I need advice on is taking a component from 1 cab and adding it to another as a start. Is this fairly simple or should I stick to what I have. As an example I tried the following. I wanted to take an aspect indicator from a Dash-9 cab and place it in a GP38 cab. I copied the .ace file and the related lines from the .cvf. Figured if it showed up I could reposition it, but it didn't show up in the GP38, anywhere. What were my mistakes? Any and all advice will be appreciated.Cyndi

RE: MOVING COMPONENTS

If you look in any .cvf file, after the block that defines the front and side ace files, there is a line which looks like this
CabViewControls ( 14
The number in the line defines how many items are placed in the cabview. If you want to add something into an existing cab you must also increase this number by the number of items you are adding.
