I hope its not been asked before but, some locos I have downloaded do not display the notch power changes in views 2,3,4 etc and others do. Is there something in the eng file that alters this?Useually you get a white box towards the bottom of the screen giving you the current power % when you make a change (up or down). Andy KUK
Sorry, I don't seam to have explained my problem very well.If you are using view 2 to drive the train and you increase or decrease the throttle using the keyboard shortcut ( a or d ), most of my locos display this change as a white box towards the bottom of the screen for perhaps 3 seconds. But a NYS&W B40 that I recently downloaded does not do this. The throttle is changed (if you turn on the HUD display this is confirmed) but no white box.Any guessAndy K
>Yes it shows the throttle settings but only in a percentage >value. That's what he wants to see. The little text box at the bottom of the screen also only shows percentage.-Jeff
I have noticed that if you are using a locomotive that isn't designed for combined controls, (separate throttle and dynamic brake levers for example) but the combined control instruction is written into into the .eng file, the control settings do not show on the screen bottom. One example was the original 8500horse turbine. Once I removed the CombinedControl instruction, so that the throttle was controlled by A and D and the Dynamic was controlled by < and >, the control position started showing. Does that help?
