I downloaded the SD40-2 YN3 with the 5KLA horn and such and when I went to go for a ride I found myself in an ivisilble cab. The guages and such were suspended in air. It uses a common cab file. Now I thought CSX stopped making the "stealth" scheme. It needs version 1.2 which I do have. However I have a modified original SD40-2 cabview that looks right down the tracks. Is it possible the change of my origianl SD40-2 cabview goofed up the works?Any ideas will be appreciated! Thanks!BobFlorida Railfan Page

It's been a while since I donwloaded this thing, but it seems like maybe the .cvf file in the CABVIEW folder doesn't alias to the common.cab folder that comes with the loco. Open the cvf file and check out where the VERY FIRST cabview command line is pointing. If it's pointing to the common cab folder it will look like this:( "..\\..\\common.cab\\csx\\yn3front1024.ace" )If it's just pointing within the 8315 CABVIEW folder itself, it will look like this:( yn3front1024.ace )If you have the first, make sure all of your paths/folders are set up correctly. If you have the second, either change it to the first, or make sure you have the yn3front1024.ace file in the CABVIEW folder within the 8315 locomotive folder. Once you've tried this, get back to us with the results.

Copy the file out of the .zip file I attached into the Cabview folder. It should fix the problem. Sorry about that I did a typo in the file and linked it to the wrong place.AdamFunny thing happened on the CSX SD40-2 YN3 scheme – image 4 Funny thing happened on the CSX SD40-2 YN3 scheme – image 5

Got it cool! I did not see the fix you posted util later. That was my bad.Great motor, I like the horn. I even put the horn into a CSX AC4400 I have too. I know it's tough I with the cab looked more "forward" but other than that a GREAT engine thanks!BobFlorida Railfan Page
