The interior of the cab.If you have the Cajon pack.It has a night cabview interior of the sd70m.If I'm not mistaking Kyle Hendricks did the night time cab interior for those units and the ones that are used in the Dekosoft locos. If you have any of those products you'll see what I mean.It looks really nice even when used during the hours of daylight.Kyle also did a night cab for a CSX unit here in the library. You may have seen that one also.

Hey Claude, I didn't do any work on that Cajon project. Being an Easterner, I don't have it yet, but would really like to see a screenshot of it (Please)!!! I have only done work for Dekosoft and NALW. Here is a link of a more recent post, that has screenshots of the Night Cabs I am involved with. Later Kyle H
P.S. It's "Hendrix", like Jimi.......

Oops my bad Kyle. That night time cab from the Cajon Pass looks just like something that you did.Your night time cab work was all that I'd seen until the Cajon project so I thought that you worked with those guys.

RE: New Cabview

The Photoshop 7.01 .PSD file and the .TGA are included in the download. Your welcome to do to it whatever you wish. I also have the PSD and TGA files for all the individual levers if you want them?I have a version of the F45 cab almost ready to upload and I have been working on a C30 cab as well as laying out a foundation for F59PHI.I can cut real photos apart and paste them in and blend them together, and I can make transparency layers for the windows and levers. I can also make them work in the cab editor.Darkening everything in coordination is like the next plateau for me.Kyle your welcome to the files. Thats why I put them in there. Share and share a like.If you go here, you can see some of the cabs and diesels I have painted. http://www.vnerr.com/fl/diesel.htmYou have to belong to the RR to download, but you cab still look, who knows you may want to join. Yeah, I made that one because of not being able to see the signals in MSTS, and that's how they look down here on CSX (GA). I have several other versions because once you get used to them, you want them on most everything!

Actually it's a very good question, because they were removed for lack of permissions for using certain parts. It's all in another thread, that I don't have a link to. However, Bob is checking on some things and may be releasing something else soon..... Kyle H

RE: New Cabview

I've been doing 12-14 hours a day, on my day job this week. I carve tombstones and Memorial Day is coming, so it is busy. I talked with Brad of 3D Train Stuff and he told me what to do in order to be able to repost it. I hope to have it back up this weekend and maybe Kyle will darken it again.Bob Artim

RE: New Cabview

1 Item removed 1 item added. Few other little tweaks I want to make since I been driving it so much, a few things have been bugging me. I found spots in a couple of the nothces that need the transparency tweaked on. One of the Air Pressure readouts is too low, one of the bars is too low, may make them a tad thinnner so they dont cover up the increment lines all the way. Move the fuel gauge over a tad and add GAL to it. In order to keep the load meter dial gauge, the aspect display frame has to shrink about 3/4 of an inch. There is a lot of dead black space in it so it will be ok.The transparency layers are the hardest for me at the moment.Bob

RE: New Cabview

That's good news and I look forward to it.Have any of you tried or do you know if it is possible to display tractive effort instead of amperage? If it is possible, we could have an accurate AC4400 cab also. I know that the Acella has TE. I just don't know how to get it into a dash9 cab. Thanks,

We also have an update pending to our GEMegapak cabs that morphs our Dash 9 into a AC4400 cab among other things and this is one of the changes we had to make... Amps into TE.....
FWIW, I've had a ball convincing our Cab Team that contrary to some pix posted on here there is no AMP display on the ACxx00 telemetry....

Chuck every once in awhile you'll have to knock them in the head with a soup bone. That'll convince them real good.

RE: New Cabview

If you have the SD90MAC-H that in the library it has a cabview that displays tractive effort.
