LAST EDITED ON Mar-18-03 AT 01:23 AM (EDT)

Is anyone working on the "right" cabs for controll's U50's? His instructions say use the Dash9 cab, but the windows are all wrong, I don't think and engine that old had a "power desk," and it has only one power meter. I've been using the C30-7 cab, but that's wrong, too. Thought about the DDA40 cab, which has 2 power meters, but the windows are STILL wrong.
Can't design it myself, every time I go into the editors lately, I get "MSTS phone home" (Which is another question that I'll post soon, if I can't find an answer already posted)

RE: U50B and U50C cabs

Chuck,
The Dash7 cab is the one I'm using, but again, the windows are all wrong. I'll d/l the U23 and see if that looks any better. SamSpade's cab sounds promising, but will it have two ammeters? Or will I be able to modify it?

Hey chuck,If you guys want to modify the U-boat cab you all have for my U50 series I am all for it....since I am no good at making working levers and gauges and I have just the black and white pics above to work from it would take some time to come up with something....and since you already have something that will work, go for it.Rick

RE: RE%3A U50B and U50C cabs

Since I asked for it, do I get "first dibs?"
Anyway, please do let me know when it comes out.
