Yes, I am working on a new speedometer. However when I place the digital speed readout into the cab, when I try to reload the cab, it errors saying "failed to read cabview" then "failed to read cabview controls" and finally "failed to create cabview". Does anyone know why this is happening? But yes, look at the new picture below, it is where I am at right now. I think it is better than the above photo. Also, I need some hepl putting in the air pressure needles and the load meter. Also, the brake, dynamic brake, and throttle pics do not change in the sim as they should though I have the necessary pics-does anyone know why this is happening?
Kevin why not mount it directly in front as was depicted in a few of the pictures from you last post?It also keeps the control stand from being cluttered. In my opinion the original cab window looked better than this view.Hmmm after looking at the view again it's a close call.I like both views.Go with the one that you think is best suited for the cab.Good luck dude.
Yeah, Im still working on adjusting the cab window. The one in the pic above is how it looks in the cab I have a picture of. That is why I opted to do it this way. As for moving the speedometer, I would like to, but I have no pic to copy and move and when I relocate this one, it looks kind of "corny". So until I get a better pic of one, I'm just going to keep it there. But yes, Im sure I'll get a better pic and eventually move it. I also plan on modifying the background to have an alternate with the CN "teardrop" so it can be used either for CN or NS/BC Rail. I am still trying to come up with a way to make that speedometer work with the LEDs around the numbers. I still have quite a lot of work to do and as stated above, there are some things I need some help with. But for my first cab, I think it looks pretty darn good! I ran a test last night and the cabview out the front does look better than you'd think it would. I'll keep ya posted.
