Heres the forgotten pic. There are several adjustments needed including being able to see the track youre on, a speedometer, several air guages and other various fine-tunings. The loco brake, throttle, reverser and dynamic brake graphics will be re-done as well.
The hud view can offer alot of the things that you want to add such as air readings and speed.Looks good anyway. It's as close to the real deal as you're gonna get dude.Keep up the good work.
Looks very nice! Can't wait to see it when it's finished.Let me know if you need help on anything.Edit: Oh, and by "teardrop," I think this is what he's talking about. See how the cab winshield drops off at the side? I think that's the teardrop (looks like one, don't it? ). Mike Karlik www.trainsimstation.com
Why do some thier locos have the teardrop on the GE's - it should be like the standard D9 - a rectangle windsheild (cheaper!! ) - Hamersley Iron have tear drops on thier Dash9's down here - and BHP does with its AC6000CW (which are getting replaced by SD70MAC's!!)thankscheers mike
Do you think that you could design a speedometer that looks loike the one in this photo or you could possibly use the digital speedometer that has come out with the sd40 cab view.
