Commonality of SD40-2, SD45, SD50, and SD60 Cabs? – image 1

I've managed to compile a variety of locomotives in the SD40 class and up, and I'm wanting to get "accurate" cab views for them, all while saving space. I've aliased some of the things to a Norfolk Southern cab that I found in one locomotive, but there are others which aren't from that particular railroad, and I need some advice. Therefore: Is there any major significance (assuming that all locomotives concerned are low-nose variants) between the topic-listed models in terms of cab views and whatnot? It's my understanding that the SD60 came in an austere and not-austere cab type, but I can't deal with that inasmuch as I haven't a clue as to what that means past the basic word. Thanks!

RE: Commonality of SD40-2, SD45, SD50, and SD60 Cabs?

well the sD40-2 and SD45 cabs are probably almost identical. I dont know about the SD50, but I know the SD60 introduced microprocessor control and I believe the spartan cab (not wide cab) may have had a computer screen or two in it. Also, the SD40-2 and SD45 cabs are not only practically identical to eachother, but to many of the later GP-series locos as well.
