Jan-10-02, 00:00 AM (EST) "Japanese Steam" The cab I posted last week is now available in the File Library.
The Hitsatsu is the only one of the original MSTS routes that has a shortline feel to it, and the scenery is among the best.
The file includes the Mogul locomotive. It's a vintage one, built between 1914 and the early 1930s. There's at least one of them still making tourist runs in Kyushu -- occasionally even on the Hisatsu itself. Here are a couple of views.Message Areas - "Japanese Steam" – image 1

Jan-10-02, 08:37 AM (EST) 1. "RE: Japanese Steam" Rick,Thank you for a very worthwhile addition. I am downloading it now (modem - boring). I enjoy running on the Japanese lines as a change to the European and American lines. The feel is very different and quite engaging.-------SamSpade--------
