I remembered seeing a screenshot somewhere here where someone had removed the hood from TA's SD40-2 cabview. I already have TGA Tool 2 and PSP7. I've tried saving the sd402frnt1024(Alex Hall's version) in targa and then open it up in PSP7. Once it's opened, I've no idea what to do next to remove the hood. If anyone can point me in the right directions to do it, I'll appreciate it very much, as I want a version of that cab where I can see a little bit more of the front view. Thanks.

Editing a cab .ace file is similar to editing any .ace file. If you know how to do that, than you can probably redo the .ace file easily. If you don't, here are a few steps just to give you the basic idea.1. Load the sd40front1024.ace file into TGA tool then send the image PSP7.2. Grab the paintbrush and paint the area of the nose blue (or whatever the background window color is).3. Save the .ace file.4. Go back to TGA Tool and click "Reload after edit." Your changes should be made.5. Click Export, .Ace (Alpha) and choose the sd401024.ace file that you started out with. (Click yes to overwrite.)6. TGA Tool will do its thing and your cabview .ace file will now be changed.7. Do basically the same thing for the alpha channel (Black and white type thing in the box in the upper right hand corner.) It will be a little harder to do so. Probably the best thing to do is to cut and paste the window section from the front.ace into the alpha channel and just make the window area black and the cab white.I hope this helps. It's a little more complicated than this, but it shouldn't be too hard.
