Howdy all.Just update what I've been working on. The version I'm playing with right now is CP Rail.

Lots of work to do yet ... some screwy angles and missing a nose on the normal view. It should be worth the effort though, I think.Thanks to Scott Miller for triggering this idea for me. (I owe ya one ... just tell me what road)Ray

Oh, Tim ... you ain't seen nothin yet. You should see the REAL project I'm working on!!! (sorry, no pics ... TOP SECRET)Thanks for the jesture regarding online. Probably won't see me much for a while ... my TS projects are keeping me extremely busy. Plus, my generous wife let me buy 'Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2' yesterday. Problem though ... running short of HD space to put it ... gotta shuffle. Think I'll take Trainz off for now. I just can't believe I've filled 80 gigs already! Next stop is a WD 80 gig drive with 8 meg cache. Trouble is, the ATA is full so I also need to add a controller card. Well, there goes about $300 CDN. Gotta do it before Christmas though ... I expect Island Thunder and Enemy Territory (addon for Wolfenstein expected this fall/winter) and I will definately be outta room by then!!Oh well, back to the grind ........LaterRay

Here's a question ...For this (these) cabview mods I'm working on, would you guys like me to supply Targa files with a solid (grey, maybe) background in the window areas with no nose/hood shown?? Might it make it easier to edit for personal use?? Just a thought ...Ray

Just wondering if the above screenshot is using a different track texture. It looks shinier and more yellowish. It doesn't look familiar but looks great. The cab is also primo to say the least.

Hmmm, nobody answered Rogann on this? I dunno, I darkened the bejeezus out of the alpha channel by lowering the gamma until it was black & white, then saved "-trans" instead of "with alpha". There's a way to do it, you have to make it 1024x1024, then paste the 1024x768 image at the top, and maybe there's something about "clamping" it or something, I forget. Being a lazy SOB I gave up and used a 1 bit alpha instead."Just wondering if the above screenshot is using a different track texture."
Looks like one of mine, hard to tell which, but just a SWAG it's probably 3Dtracks.zip from the file library.

Well, I just tried it. Opened TGATool2. Loaded sd40frnt1024.ace. Saved as targa. Opened in PSP 7.04 and loaded mask from alpha. No prob.Hmmmmmm ... last time I tried to get that alpha it took me two days. Arrghhhh. Ray
