It's been a while since I posted on here, and with a lot of the original developers starting to pass by the wayside, I thought a little update would be worthwhile to let anyone who is interested know that ChrisTrains is still extremely active.
I've finished the outside of the newly rebuilt Sprinter model, and am working on the cab now.P.S. For those of you who were around on these forums in June 2001, the Sprinter was the first model I released to the MSTS net community

...and I remember it well. The Sprinter was my first look into a whole new world of Dutch railroading. I was wondering if you were planning to Superscale it like the others. Thanks for the update and the models!Henry

RE: NS Sprinter rebuild includes a new cab.

Chris, I don't know if the developers are moving by the way side, or just privitizing and beginning to sell their stuff like TA and 3D trains did.Though, you do make a key point. Take me for example. I used to be one of the more active skinners, and now, well, I've not touched a train for a long time. I wanted at one time to reskin some of your work, but respected your request not to. (Which, somehow I think it makes me a considerate reskinner I guess.)The idea I had (since I'm on the subject) was to reskin one of your funny looking trains. (can't remember the name but it looks like a dog's head on the nose) Into one of the turboliners. Ok. It wouldn't be perfect, but hey, it was an idea (what ever happened to guys like Freddie Huff, Cactusboy, and many of the other skinners?)
