I downloaded the csx_7327.zip and installed it into my D: drive where all my MSTS stuff is. I edited (thought I did it right) the batch file to reference the d: rather than C: drive. When I first run the new loco in the sim, I get a beautiful night cab. Then if I close out, run the batch file and reload the loco in the sim, I get a daylight cab but the control levers are missing.I close out, rerun the batch file, reload, and the complete night cab is back again! With control levers.Happening to anyone else?krswen
Do you have the GEmegaPak2 installed? It is required,(as stated in the readme1st.txt file), because that day cab is their creation. Also my email address is in the readme too, if you need specific help. Kyle
Try copying these 3 files from your "Dash-9\Cabview" folder to your "Common.Cab\Dash8W" foldercombpwr.ace independantbrake.ace reverser.aceLet me know....Kyle
Or you can use this zip file to fix it. Just unzip to "c:\" only. and "use folders" or "use paths". (You would unzip to "D:\" since that is where you have MSTS)
Well, I tried the patch you provided and things got even worse. Now all that happens when I run the batch file is that the controls come and go while the cabview stays at daylight ambient light and the dials have a night glow!HOWEVER, other things have gotten squirrely in the last couple of days and I notice I just went over the 800 consist limit.Time to thin the files, reinstall your cab and everything will probably work just fine (I've been having sound problems too of late)..... what a goofy sim this is sometimes! Thanks by the way for the prompt assistance and encouragement. It's appreciated.krswen
Please try this file instead when you get your computer straightened out. I think the problems you have had with the day cab is my fault. Sorry for all the trouble. Kyle
