Well, today I thought to myself, "I'm going to make a cab." And I knew exactly which one I was going to attempt to make. After reading the post about the NS Dash 9 cab, I said "Well, what if I make............this."The screenshot is of lower quality because I had to resize it. So, what do you think? The cab is from NALW's F40, and the control stand and controls are from Kree8tiviT's U23. I still have to do some alpha channel editing (as you can see from the white stuff around the window), but basically, that's how it should look. Any commemts? (Oh, and I didn't so much as make the cab as I did just combining the two.) http://www.trai
I really hope you are uploading this onto Train Sim.com btw...are you in the works or have an idea of making NS GP38-2 High Nose cab? send back... ‡hÈ ¿ÛÑKÑÒWÑ? ØÑÉ
Hi: Well after my cab ride in an NS C44-9W, I must say that you have the throttle and opther levers right, but the rest needs a lot of work. **I dont mean to be critical but I am assuming you want it to be right and I have no idea how to make a cab so I do respect the cab cus I know they are hard to make.** Anyway, the horn lever is incorrect, as are the most of the colors (the throttle levers blue is correct) Also, all guages are mounted on a control stand similar to that of an SD40-2. The speedometer is all digital and mounted above the throttle. If someone were to modify TA's new SD40-2 cab with a digital speedometer and the throttle levers shown above, along with a new horn lever, you would have a haell of an accurate cab!
Sorry, guys, but NALW gave me the thumbs down on releasing this one. Since I used modified front and left .ace files from their F40, they said that they would rather I create my own instead of using theirs as a background. So, until I find the time (and if if I find the time) to create my own background image, you won't be seeing this one. Oh, and I tried what you said, BNSF4449. It does look more like a NS D9 cab.
