I had previously installed gp38cab3.zip. It seemed to work okay and then I installed gp38cab4.zip and it lowered the center window view but now I have NO needles on my gauges and the throttle handle is to "high" and there are NO numbers on the throttle notch and there is no "switch" on the lights etc.
I have the common.cab folder with the gp38 folder and inside it is the gp38J.cvf
I have changed the gp38.cvf to gp38J.cvf in the eng file of the loco I want to use it in.
I love the new and correct view but I have missing and floating items now.
Sure would appreciate any help.
THANKS!

RE: Help with GP-38 Cabview Please!!

Did you copy the 'gp38J.cvf' file into the CABVIEW folder of the train you want to use this cab with?Did you use the correct folder name when setting up the new cab files? Open the cvf file to check the path...Also, make sure you do not delete the original (default) cabview folder.

RE: Help with GP-38 Cabview Please!!

That was it.
Somewhere along the line I had deleted the original (default) cabview folder.
Thanks for ideas on where to check.
Really appreciate the response.
