Here it is! The 3D model was developed entirely in 3D Canvas Pro and rendered using POVray. This is the most complex model I've ever created in 3D Canvas, and the tool did very well. cheers
Oh wow. I must have spent 10 minutes spotting all the details in this. Which type of lighing sources did you use for the multiple internal shadows? The reflection in the screen is a beautiful touch too. And the smeary windows. This is way better than a "photorealistic" cab. I feel like I could reach out and touch every control. The right perspective and shading/shadows can work wonders. How many objects did you end up with? I found with my LUR cab that 3DC was slowing down near the end of development (about 50 objects). And a final thought -- I bet that took a while for POV-Ray to render at 1024, with what appears to be at least 3 light sources.Stunning work, Clem. You keep raising the bar and showing what can be done with these tools.Kudos, Jimi
A beautiful pice of work, Clem. Congratulations on a suberbly detailed interior... it is just magic. I have been using Maxon's 'Cinema 4D' for some animated 3D controls so I understand the level of work required to get this detail. Suberb addition to MSTS.
