Has anybody addressed the problem of how to switch between front cab views and rear cab views while engaging in shunting operations? For example: I am driving a SW1200 , coupled to a consist that I have to drag backwards to Siding X. How do I best see behind me?Fishcarver

RE: Switch engine Cab Views

The best way is to do what train drivers do; stick your head out of the window. Seriously though, for some trains with dual cabs I have made a 'rear' or 'B' cab view. I have not done so for the switchers but it is not impossible. Good photos would help of course. I have some but no time!-------SamSpade--------

RE: Switch engine Cab Views

Look in the search files category for a SW1500 that has Independant Freight Lines on the side of it, it is green with yello lettering. This engine has a custom cabview that when you push 1 and then the down arrow for the cabout view, you are avtually looking over the rear coupler of the engine. Hope this helpsLoose Cannon 17
