Hi,
I downloaded the Go transit Coaches(by: Tim Kent) a long time ago and really enjoy using them. I am wondering if anyone has a Cabview for them. Because if your running Control cab first if you ring the bell or sound the horn you don't hear it.
Does anyone know of a cabview with working controls or Sounds?
If not would it be possible to create?
Thanks
Rob

RE: GO Control Cab

hey, just wondering, you said that you were going to release the metra cars and cab very soon...that was back in April. Any word on when we'll have those wonderful cars for all to enjoy?I know that someone already has made some Metra cars, but no offense to whoever did them..., but they're of inferior quality.thanks!

LAST EDITED ON Apr-29-02 AT 05:25 PM (EDT)Hey Chuck!I've got the passenger view in the sim, the only problem is that it turns dark at night , gotta figure out why!Tell you what! Send me prototype photos of the Metra interior...and I'll make a prototypical Metra interior...(the Bombardier "tri-level" interor would look out of place in my opinon).Say, I sent Sam some photos of the Bombardier cabviews, is he planning on that? Also, is the GMDwidecab cleared for upload?I like those bi-levels ....will look good with my repaint of Jens-Chris' E8 in to a E9R with BN/Metra commuter colors!Take care!Kurt

there is a way to make the cab car the "lead" loco when train sim loads. It's a matter of inserting making a .eng file, and using an AI locomotive for sounds.. i am currently testing this out, so far.. so good... Now.. all I need is a proper cabview lol it is weird doing this with a dash 9 cab.

Mac, you could create a dummy eng file with all the values as zero. It would be basically a wag file with the cabview. Most cabviews would be really off, esp the GP38 one.Kevin Arceneaux
