Apr-07-02, 10:47 PM (EST) "New GP38 Cab released!" JohansTeam and the "ReManufacturing" shop at North American Locomotive Works takes great pride in announcing the release of a "replacement" Cabview for the default Kuju GP38 cabview.
This upgrade contains;
A.) Cabsignals!
B.) an "improved" Engineer/Driver point of view reference!
C.) "Heads Out Views"..
D.) High Hood models for use with Norfolk Southern and other roads that had high hood diesels or ran long hood forward.
E.) The package also contains ENG files for easy use with the default GP38, SD40 or Justin Cornell's NS GP38 or SD40.

Apr-10-02, 10:29 AM (EST) 8. "RE: New GP38 Cab released!" LAST EDITED ON Apr-10-02 AT 10:32 AM (EST)Chuck is there any way that I can raise the view so as not to feel that I'm sitting lower than the control stand.Just a thought.Got alot of hours in the sd's and gp's.Feels like the seat is alittle too low.Forgot to add this.Nice work on the cab.I like being able to look out the driver's window and not the middle window.Can't get to the little boys room in the nose with the control stand in the way..Again thanks for all the good cabs and locos.Don't forget about us Norfolk Southern folks.Need those locos ...... Apr-12-02, 11:31 PM (EST) 11. "RE: New GP38 Cab released!" Claude,See the answer I posted to the guy building an E44 ( http://www.train-sim.com/dcforum/DCForumID10/122.html ).There are two parameters, Position and Directin which affect your view to 'outside'. You need to play with these parameters to modify the view.-------SamSpade--------

Apr-15-02, 01:42 AM (EST) 12. "RE: New GP38 Cab released!" Claude350, I regret but you will not be able to change the seating arrangement, as it is at present, in this Cab. You will have to "Redo" the whole view i.e. Dropping the Console in the center to allow that window to be lowered. The space for all the controls was limitted, so unfortunately the view had to be compromised.
