Icon question – image 1

LAST EDITED ON Mar-01-05 AT 08:20 PM (EST)

Well here's a different question for all those that know the ins and outs of windows. Does anyone know if there is a way to remove the little arrow that shows up in the bottom left hand corner of shortcut icons on your desktop? Irritating little beggers. Thanks all. cheers,
Ernie

RE: Icon question

Ernie, why are you just sitting there staring at the desktop? Don't you have some freight to move? The dispatcher called and is mad as hell... you're supposed to haul a 110-car Intermodal all the way to LA!

RE: Icon question

Get X Setup Pro... it's freeware..(do a Google..!!)
It allows you to tweak approx 400 items of your OS including shortcuts arrows...!!
Plug-ins are added and I think it is open code..
I have used it for well over a year without problems... but is powerful and some changes can be detrimental if you do not know what you are doing (there is a 'Safe' mode and it backs-up too..)
I like it..!!Georges
