Feb-16-02, 01:38 AM (EST) "WhiteFish Route Issue" I've installed the whitefish as per the read me file, with one issue. In the read me it states:"Go into the terrtex folder and delete the file terrain.ace, and change the name of mntn_low.ace to terrain.ace."Well I can't find the "terrain.ace" file in the terrtex folder. When I start the route I get the error "Can't initialize train world"Has anyone else had this issue, and if so is there a fix?Thank you,
Peter

Feb-16-02, 09:21 AM (EST) 1. "RE: WhiteFish Route Issue" Before starting, you should create a new "Whitefish" folder, and copy the contents of the "Templates" folder into it. Next, follow the instructions in the readme, overwriting any files if requested. You will then find there is a terrain.ace file in the terrtex folder. Delete this, and make a copy of mntn_low.ace. Rename the copy of mntn_low.ace to "terrain.ace".This worked for me. Persevere - it's a lovely route!Chris.

Feb-16-02, 06:53 PM (EST) 2. "RE: WhiteFish Route Issue" When the Zip files are unzipped, the result is Routes\white_1\Whitefish. Also the white_2.zip results in \white_2\(subfolders). Why did the route designer insist on putting the route into two zips, each with another zip within those? I have fiddled with my installation (including using the full-version Route Control) and I now have a train (locomotive and consist) with NO track, NO ground, and NO other scenery. It is as though the train is operating 20,000 feet up in the sky. Any ideas on what is causing this and what I am missing?
Thanks
