Serif are offering a copy of Trainz at a very reduced price. I'm not sure what version it is but I assume it is an earlier version. Do anyone have experience of Trainz? How does it compare to MS Train Simulator? Any comments would be welcome

RE: MS Train Simulator v Trainz

To put it simply, Microsoft Train Simulator is a train simulator. Auran Trainz is a model railroad simulator.
No offense or judgment intended here folks. Just a cut to the bone.
As mentioned, they both have their pro's and con's, and yes-I do have both. Hawk

RE: MS Train Simulator v Trainz

Trainz Railroad Simulator 2004 has also been selling at discount prices due to the fairly high end comp requirements, I picked up my copy of TRS04 for 19.99 at EB and ended up buying a new computer more than capable of running TRS04(most expensive "cheap" software I ever bought )and found myself very disapointed with the Auran offering, it sits on my HD collecting virtual dust while the old workhorse MSTS just keeps chugging along.Gary S
