For all of you Penn Central fans, a PC 40' trailer. It is at the scrapyard in Lake Odessa, MI. I think it is for storage. Most of the PC is reconizable and sone of the lettering beneath is visiable too. It is an interesting find in this day and age.
Ah, jade green and one of the best railroad heralds ever developed. It's beauty, eh. Far superior in livery and logo to what came later. Thanks for sharing this; it's a little bit of Christmas come early.

We had a bit of the "bit O history" trailer here in the Chicago burbs, I was out driving and happened to look over at a landscape contracters yard and just about locked the hooks as the yard had several semi trailers for storage one being an old CGW piggyback trailer, unfortunately the local park district bulldozed the site for a waterpark before I could get picsGary S

A couple of months ago while in Cranberry, PA, I was at a McDonalds and right across the road was one of those PC trailers. Don't expect NS to pick em up anytime soon.
