There are two issues here in my opinion:1 UPDATES
if you dont have the 1.2 update available from the microsoft site MSTS wont work. There will also be another update and two locomotive updates. these are critical and MSTS in my experience wont run without them. Downloading and installing these should get train simulator to work. If not then re-install MSTS in full with ALL ROUTES and then re-install the updates.2. ROUTE Do you have all the default routes installed, if not this is what may cause the route problem. however, the version i got to run was not on the MSTS website. if you go to www.railserve.com there is a much more recent version there, this is the one that i got to run, i could never get the version you have to run.

If you are getting track error messages, you may want to install the correct set of special tracks this route uses, and this is clearly stated in the "read me" for the L route.Chris Bogley
