Nice specs! Although I would consider if possible to up your RAM to at least 512MB and preferably to 1GB if you can swing it. WinXP eats allot more RAM than Win98 did, and you are probably using Virtual Memory quite a bit. This will have an impact on your performance. You may not notice it that much now as your system is new and your HD drive is probably not too fragmented yet, but as time goes by you will start to notice it more. With 512MB you won't be paging as much, and probably not at all with 1GB. You will also notice Apps loading faster with more memory too. I'm starting to think about a new system too with the prices so low. Currently I'm running a P4 2.0Ghz, 1GB and a GeForce 5900 Ultra card. Home Shopping Network was advertising a Gateway 3.2Ghz P4 with 512MB mem last week for just over 1G. It didn't have all the bells and whistles though, like a good sound card, or Video card, but still not a bad price.
