I've downloaded the Durango & Silverton(D&SNGRR) route and I am very confused. The files from the 1st folder won't copy, in other words, a folder(e.g PATHS) will copy but there's nothing in it. Can someone help?
>I just found out it is corrupted. How do I fix it? It probably isn't, so you don't have to. The "wizard" you're using won't ever work for spanned zip files...regards, charlie
If you mean the Silverton Branch of the D&RGW, here's the procedure...The route comes packaged as: silv10_1.zip silv10_2.zip silv10_3.zip silv10_4.zip (last file)Unzip these into a temp location first so that you have the following, all in the same location: rte-info.txt Silver10.zip Silver10.z01 Silver10.z02 Silver10.z03 (last file)Then operate on "Silver10.zip" with any of the three methods in the "rte-info.txt" or the thread on spanned files below (they say the same thing):http://www.train-sim.com/dcforum/DCForumID3/22758.htmlAfter this, you will need to run the "installme.bat" in the \Silverton folder. For this to work properly, you need to have all six default routes installed so that default objects/textures can be copied into the route. Make sure you have Xtracks installed before trying to run the route. Check the "rte-info.txt" in "silv10_1.zip" for other stuff...regards, charlie
