Ok last night going through the web sites a found Amtrak had some P30s and two F69s are the two F69s and the tree P30s still around?
Here is a photo of the P30s http://lrs.railspot.com/amt3p30.htm .What locomotives did Amtrak have has or retired or scrap? Like the F69 and P30 the ones every one knows about and the less known locomotives. So I am looking for a list of all Amtrak Diesel's past and present.

RE: Amtrak Diesel Locomotives

The two F69PH-AC's built were basically demos for new AC traction passenger diesels. Their design looks very similar to Metra's F40PHM-2's. These engines were owned by EMD and Siemens. The locomotive builders tend to keep unwanted engines like these mothballed at their factories, so the F69's may still be around.C h r i sAmtrak Diesel Locomotives – image 1

They weren't demos per se....they were EMD-owned testbeds, much as the 4 SD60MAC's that were used on BN for several years. They were only used on Amtrak for about 3 years, then were stored. They were returned to active duty for a couple of months later in 1993, painted in a Siemens/EMD demo scheme, hauling around the ICE trainset. After that, they were stored again until 1999, when they were sold to NRE.They aren't scrapped though. They are sitting at NRE's facility in Silvis, Il, in less-than-operable condition.DanAbsolute power corrupts absolutely.

So Far As I KnowThe F69's have been cut up. They unfortunately didn't make the cut.
Ditto for the P30CH's but their usuable parts were used in other things. Can't think this early in the amDr. SatanI'm otherwise known as the SatanTrain
