Since my stroke, in which I lost a lot memory, I have to learn things from the ground up. If anyone knows where I could find the instructions, on how to reskin from the beginning I would appreciate it. Thanks Roger
Good morning Roger-I'm sorry to hear about your stroke. I wish you a speedy and complete recovery. Check out the following link for reskinning. I think it will answer most, if not all, of your questions.http://www.train-sim.com/dcforum/DCForumID8/5108.htmlEric Bentz

I don't get why people call it reskinning. Repainting makes more sense because if you reskinned it you'd physically be removing the model's shell and replacing it with a new one - say I made my E3A into an E8 - that'd be a reskin. When you apply a new paintjob the loco retains its "skin."-Random comment. Proceed."The F59PHI and Genesis are the lamest excuses for locomotives Amtrak has ever operated - accept it and move on. People say reskinning because they are comfortable with saying that.Last time looked no one was burned at the stake for saying "reskin" or "reskinning".Claude Debnam NS Piedmont Division Raleigh East
I'm just making the argument that it sounds odd to me. Not trying to be rude. The obvious analogy is the tattoo. If you got a tattoo, did you change your skin? No, you painted it."The F59PHI and Genesis are the lamest excuses for locomotives Amtrak has ever operated - accept it and move on. Hug an F40 before it's too late!"
