Chris, have you ever been around #142?The Chinese build one hell of a steamer.I prefer when the NYSW runs trains powered only by the E-units.Steam on one end and a diesel on the other just doesn't look right.

They are calling for rain here on the weekend, mostly on Sat., but change of showers also on Sunday, so it doesn't look like I will be out on Sat. chasing it, and Sundays trip isn't looking too good either. I have my tickets for Sunday, just doesn;t look like mother nature will be on my side this weekend. Taking my wife and 3 year old daughter, and I know she will enjoy it.Chris Bogley

The old Susie Q had everything up here in Utica in the past couple of weeks. Must have been cleaning things up for the event. 142 is the only Steam loco that I have stood trackside and watched go by. It's really is an awesome experience!!! I won't have time this weekend to get out to Cuse' but I'll ride the Adirondack RR up into the North Country before the snow falls
