Just thought I would let you folks know I picked up a 6 DVD / 12 hour set of trains at the Discovery Channel Store at our mall. If you have a Discovery Store near you, go check it out, or try on line at www.discovery.comThey have 12 segments, so I assume each segment is an hour. Segments include VIA over KHP, Amtrak on the Surfliner, Donner Pass, Blue Mountains (UP), UP 3995 (That may not be the exact number, but it is a segment on thier steam engine making a run to Denver), and a few more intresting segments.Chris Bogley

>when you are watching trains The particular boxed set mentioned just happens to be mostly Pentrex tapes!!!! So you're getting TWELVE for the price of ONE.I bought the same boxed set for $26.95 a year ago at Fry's Electronics in Anaheim, California.

Chris, What's the name of the boxed DVD set? I tried looking for it and all I can find is the "Extreme Engineering TransAtlantic Tunnel(VHS, DVD)" and "Runaway Trains 2(VHS)." Ken Plaza 12 hours of trains… $30… Steam, frieght, passenger – image 2
