>for. The LIRR stuff so far consists of GP38-2's, RS-1, RS-3 and FA-2 locomotives....PT72 push-ull cars (Pullman 1956 vintage), and in the MU cars, MP54's of various varieties and some MP70 double-deckers.There are some M-1's available, but not at this file library. They are at the Atlantic Coastal virtual railway site (or some name similar to that). You have to go through and sign up as an "employee" tobe able to download them. Unfortunately, I was not pleased with them....cabview wasn't anything near real, sounds were nowhere near real either. And they are NOT decorated (logo-ed) with LIRR or Metro-North.As for NYCTA subway cars....there are IRT Lo-V's, also R-17/21/22/29/33/36 cars out there. And they are very well done, inside, and out and sound-wise too.

LIRR M1s, Metro North M1As, and Metro North M3As are in beta-testing, and I happened to be one of those beta testers before I lost the files while switching computers. I believe there are M2s under construction as well, but I'm not sure.
There are no R42s under construction or planned.
As for possibly OTHER modern LIRR trains...we'll see...(I tell you right now, I'm not building anything)
