Jan-29-02, 06:16 PM (EST) "Any other CGW buffs out there" Hi all
I was just wondering how many on these boards are fans of the
Great Weedy.
Kind of odd seing as the CGW passed from existance when I was only six and barely rember seeing units pass through town in the company of CNW units.
Anyone atempting to do a CGW route or other rolling stock? Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

He has done several CGW repaints as well. So has Sam Webb (ICSD20)but those have not been released yet.I was one when the CGW left. I did see many CGW units in Belvidere over the years though.Kelley

Jan-31-02, 03:01 PM (EST) 2. "RE: Any other CGW buffs out there" I am doing the cgw from chicago transfer to dubuque. I have Ingalton to Stillman valley fairly complete. Hopefully I will get the rest done sometime. I am not sure if I would upload the route as I have used a lot of buildings from other routes and the routes dont compress very well. However if you are interested I could burn it on a cd and mail it if you are willing to pay postage.

#120 is just west of Wasco Illinois
Anyway Let me know what you think, if nothing else I enjoy the heck out of building a route etc. If you are interested there is a cgw group on yahoo, its a great source of info.

I'd love a copy e-mail me with the info or maybe you'd be
interested in a copy of a 1958 track survey from Chicago Transfer to Olwien showing signal posistion/ types, siding locations/ bridge types etc, in trade.
