There is a train in one of the shows, but is there any other connection to MSTS? Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Jan-25-02, 01:07 PM (EST) 3. "RE: Dad's Army (fav character)" Tim,
It is a BBC TV series and is about a group of old men who are in the English Home Guard during WW 2! It is a fun series and ran a number of years ago on PBS here in the States!A question for you. I have a bottom of the scale machine. It has a integrated graphics card and the OEM tells me I can not upgrade! Is it possible to purchase a better Graphics Card that can be put into a PCI slot and then uninstal the current card or vica versa as the case may be? Ta...... Jan-25-02, 06:27 PM (EST) 5. "RE: Dad's Army (fav character)" Check out Elsa 512 Gforce 2 32MB PCI card, about the best PCI card around. www.elsa.comYou can't take out your integrated card, but no need, just requires a small alteration in the BIOS when you install the PCI.Cheers,Ken Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Jan-26-02, 09:36 AM (EST) 8. "RE: Dad's Army (fav character)" Hi Big Dave,
Sorry I lost track of your thread for a moment.
If I had to pick a favourite, I guess it would have to be Clive Dunn (L/Cpl Jones).
However, the series was so well written and the cast so well chosen that from Mainwaring to "stupid boy" Pike, you couldn't
fault any of it.
It is currently being rerun on BBC and I'm enjoying it all over again.Cheers,Ken Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
