The weather was gloomy and the fireworks/light show almost got rained out, but the trains were worth it.TRAINS magazine's website has a nice NewsWire photo of the light show and fireworks-- http://www.trains.com//Utilities/get_galleryfile.asp?idOLG={434AC5DD-89BF-45C4-A5C1-F19AB9FAE09B}1Mr. F

LI Rails: That's what made me wonder....where was it going? Would EMD do maintenance on it at LaGrange? I thought if it was headed to Super Steel it would have been routed north at a point further east. That train it was in was one of the weirdest lashups I've ever seen-- NS Whiteface SD40-2 + NS high-nose SD40-2 + LI DM30AC + NS GP60 + CR 6-motor slug with NS number, and only about 25 cars or so. It sounded to me like more than one or two of the units were working, but maybe some kind of hospital move?Mr. F

Water under the bridge as far as I'm concerned. It's my opinion though, that "Screen Shot Forum" is somewhat of a misnomer if that's where series of RealLife(tm) pictures should be going too...I mean, we've got "The Yard" now, what about "The Gallery"? Something a little more generalized so that it's readily apparent that's where it all goes if that's the intention? Just a suggestion...Mr. F
